Everything is washed, dried and folded by our team. Each resident's order is kept separate and labelled throughout the wash, dry and fold service, from collection until it is returned to their door. Leave out anything that should not be machine washed, and let us know when setting up the service if a particular garment needs extra care. A family member can sign up and be billed on the resident's behalf, or a resident can set up their own plan. We charge the tier the week's actual weight falls into — up to 4 kg $22, to 7 kg $31, to 10 kg $42 — and anything over 10 kg is simply $4 per extra kg.
For Family Members Arranging This Remotely
Helping a parent keep on top of their laundry is one of those jobs that can quietly become harder to manage — for them, and for you. A retirement village laundry service takes it off both of your lists.
As the family member, you arrange the service once, from wherever you live. From then on, laundry is collected from your parent's door each week, washed, dried and folded, and returned clean, folded and labelled.
Communication happens with you directly, and the weekly invoice is emailed to you rather than your parent, so there is nothing for them to pay or keep track of. The service can be paused or adjusted if circumstances change.
Retirement villages and other organisations can also arrange a service for multiple residents; larger arrangements are discussed directly with our team.
